F & D Scene Changes, Calgary, AB - Scenic Painter

Worked on several large projects including; "Frozen" on Broadway (North American Tour), "Key Largo" at the Geffen Playhouse, an unannounced National Geographic project, "Nature Play" Calgary Zoo Playground, replacement drops for "Wicked" on Broadway, HBO's "The Last of Us" Season 1.
Banff Centre for the Arts, Banff, AB - Paint Practicum
MAY 2019 - AUG 2019
Three month Scenic Art Practicum under Andrea Steinwand. Worked on two opera's; "No One's Safe" directed by Joel Ivany and "Silent Light" directed by Thaddeus Strassberger. We also painted a canvas backdrop for the annual Banff Midsummer Ball's photo op and worked on a number of personal projects.
Affair Of Honor, Vancouver, BC - Lead Scenic Painter
OCT 2018 - NOV 2018
"Soul Samurai" directed by Nathania Louise Bernabe. Painted a 14'/24' canvas backdrop featuring a gradient cityscape, the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, a New York Subway sign, and graffiti spelling out 'NYC'. The show was nominated for the "Significant Artistic Achievement" award at the Jessies in BC.

Worked on 7 shows as a painter while also working in construction, props, lighting and audio. "Good Person of Setzuan", "The Government Inspector", "Rocky Horror Picture Show", "Cabaret", "Treasure Island", "Dangerous Liaisons", "Secret Garden".
